Do I need a prescription for coloured contacts in Australia?

Plano (zero-power) coloured contacts do not require a prescription in Australia — they change your eye colour without correcting vision. If you need vision correction, ask your optometrist for a contact lens prescription first. Even with plano lenses, a fitting check with an optometrist is recommended for first-time wearers.

How long do coloured contact lenses last?
